Lenovo (owner of Motorola) will stop using the Motorola name for its phones in 2016. In place of that they will use the name “Vibe” for there cheap phone and “Moto” for high end phones.

We’ll slowly phase out Motorola and focus on Moto,” Motorola Chief Operating Officer Rick Osterloh told CNET

From now onwards Lenovo will label there phone by “Moto by Lenovo”.  Also Lenovo is not removing the iconic “M” logo.

Lenovo does not have a bad brand but Motorola stands for a lot, especially in mobile,It would be a shame to move away from that – Carolina Milanesi, an analyst for Kantar WorldPanel
