How can you  handle a issue of unwanted and potentially dangerous drones flying over the city ? Well thats a tricky question to answer right ? But Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department just introduced a way it can be done.

The department is launching a new squad of officers who will operate a net-wielding drone designed to catch other drones. This new squad will protect important buildings and areas in Tokyo.

When any drone will enter in this important buildings and areas then first of all officers will first warn the drone’s operator via loudspeakers, if that doesn’t work then that drone will be taken down.

Drone attacks are some serious problems in Tokyo, As in April a drone carrying a bottle with radioactive material landed on the roof of the Japanese prime minister’s office.

Taking into consideration the latest incident, we will review drone use and measures for possible terrorist attacks using drones. We’ll do our utmost to prevent terrorist attacks – Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said at the time.

And now, its illegal to fly drone over areas like airports, power plants and roads, as well as above a height of 150m (492 feet) in Japan.
