There were some strong rumours flying around regarding the Marshmallow update for Note 5, S6 , S6 Edge is coming in December. Now we some fresh images of the update have leaked via XDA.
Looking at the leaks it appears that Samsung is making its visual changes to look like Google’s Material Design, Which is very good as the TouchWiz’s appearance is hated by many.
Mario Tomás Serrafero, a XDA user got his hands on an early Note 5 Marshmallow update, and took some screenshots to compare how the TouchWiz UI is being tweaked. Whats is really surprising is that Serrafero gets more points in benchmark after the update on his Note 5 in both multi-core and single-core tests. (Checkout the scores screenshot below)
instant responsiveness all around. The multitasking menu, in particular, feels and looks smoother, also the lock screen opens much quicker, and there’s a new ability to fully customize shortcuts. – Serrafero
Also he warns that the build he tried on his Note 5 likely isn’t final, so improvements could be made ahead of Marshmallow’s rumored December rollout.
