Microsoft today finally unveils the Lumia 950. The new Lumia will feature Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft announces the last flagship Windows phone after a long 18 months.

The new Microsoft Lumia 950 comes in with a 5.2-inch WQHD (1440 x 2560) OLED display on the Lumia 950, coupled with 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 808 processor. This makes it the most powerful windows up till the date.


Camera on Lumia was one of the main selling point of the phone and this time Microsoft even improves the camera capabilities with the Lumia 950. A 20-megapixel PureView camera (with triple LED RGB natural flash) will serve as the primary camera; a wide-angle 5-megapixel front-facing camera , 5th generation optical image stabilization and can record 4K. (Camera Game is pretty strong here).

“This is supposed to be the most productive phone you’ve ever picked up,”- Microsoft.

The new Lumia 950 will take advantage of Continuum. Continuum will turn a phone into a PC by allowing support for a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, and the ability to connect a device wirelessly to a monitor. Microsoft also briefly gave a demo of Windows Hello, which allows users to login to their device with biometrics; the feature will recognize you, say your name and log you in instantly.

The Lumia 950 will retail at a price tag of  $549, and will launch in November.
