Today Google along with Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, Google Unveils the new Pixel C, a 10.2-inch tablet at $499. And instead of running Chrome OS, this Pixel runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The New Pixel C takes many clues from iPad Pro and the Surface. Under the hood, the device has an Nvidia Tegra X1 processor and 3GB of RAM, which Google says makes it powerful enough to handle work and entertainment. The screen is 10.2 inches, and has a square-root of 2 aspect ratio. The resolution is 2560 x 1800 and has 500 nits of brightness, meaning you can use this tablet outside without worrying about the outdoor visibility.

Google during the event talked in depth about how the keyboard will work with table – With a full size keyboard at a price tag of $149. The new Tablet from google can itself inductively charges the keyboard so you never have to charge it.

Whats really amazing is how the keyboard attaches to the device. With some magical magnets, you can adjust the device from 100 to 135 degrees without a kickstand, while the keyboard will connect to the Pixel C through Bluetooth, a move Google says was meant to cut down on ports.

The new Pixel C keyboard has an 18.8mm pitch; most laptops have a 19mm pitch keyboard. Meanwhile, the keyboard has 1.4mm of travel, and is supposed to feature a very responsive force curve.  The Pixel C tablet and keyboard will both be available in time for the holidays.
