Samsung posted there second quarter earnings. Samsung’s net profit fell 8 percent year-on-year to 5.75 trillion won ($4.93 billion) on sales of 48.5 trillion won ($41.7 billion), down 7 percent from last year. Samsung says that the launch of its flagship Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge phones didn’t boost the mobile division beyond making a “quite marginal” impact on the bottom line.

Samsung says that it is facing a “difficult business environment” in the second half of the year, but plans to keep up sales momentum by “adjusting the price” of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge along with introducing some new phone models – Samsung S6 Edge Plus & Note 5.

Samsung is conducting its unpacked event in New York City on August 13th. This means we will able to see bigger Samsung s6 edge with low price then the current ones. We are seeing new mobile from samsung bit early this year.

Samsung knows it has to compete with apple and other high end smartphones makers to be in the market. Samsung did its best to introduce its twins phone which are most critically acclaimed phones in years but they are making huge sales for the company.

Its not only the well know company’s are famous there are new company’s like One Plus which are rapidly getting popular. So to remain in market samsung needs to come with new fresh ideas for there phone with a good price tag.
